PhD Research Fellowship in Semiotics – Marie Curie Doctoral Networks (VORTEX project), University of Turin | Deadline 31st January 2023
The University of Turin, Department of Philosophy and Education Science (PhD Programme in Humanities) is seeking to fill one doctoral student position with a specialization in Semiotics or a related field. The successful applicant will be part of the doctoral network “Coping with Varieties of Radicalization into Terrorism and Extremism (VORTEX)”, which is funded by the EU Horizon Europe’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (Grant Agreement n° 101073440). The appointment is for a fixed period of 3 years, starting September-October 2023.
The topic of the individual research project is “Fake and Conspiracy: Disinformation Dynamics and Radicalization”.
The primary supervisor will be prof. Massimo Leone, full professor at the Department of Philosophy and Education Science (University of Turin).
