he PI, Jenny PonzoGabriele Marino, and Gabriele Vissio are participating in the “The Reasonable Interpreter”, as a part of the International Roundtable for the Semiotics of Law series, which will take place in Turin, Italy, on September 19-20, 2019. Besides Prof. Ponzo herself, the Organizing Committee includes Angela Condello, Paolo Heritier, and Massimo Leone.

The talk of Jenny Ponzo, which will take place on September 19, within the session Interpretation and Reason in Semiotics, is entitled: “The Offering of Life” as a New Case for Sainthood: Interpretations of Life Models in the Catholic Church between Law, Judicial Practices, and Doctrine. 

The talk of Gabriele Vissio, within the same session, is entitled: Clinician as Reasonable Interpreter. Philosophical and Semiotic Implications of the Concept of Vital Normativity.

The talk of Gabriele Marino, which will take place on September 20, within the session Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives on Reasonable Interpretation, is entitled: Automatic for the People. A Brief Cultural History of the Relation between Computation and So-Called Art.
